Electricity
I'd mentioned that we pay for electricity to Anna, who asked a couple of interesting questions:
"What does it look like?" - I told her you can't see it, you can only see it's there because things work, and you can sometimes see sparks.
"Does it come in a clear bag?"

Laurenism
Anna had drawn a "FrankenCelery" for Lauren - she loved it so much, she brought it to me and said "igmail" "igmail igmail!" I showed her an envelope and she smiled excitedly "igmail from Anna!" We folded it up and put it into the envelope. Lauren slept with it that night.
Asking about how some special effects were done on a show, I told her it was "magic". Anna said: "There's no such thing as magic. Except for kisses and rubs - I did that once to a boo-boo, and it DISAPPEARED!"
