Anna-isms

While reading a book about wheels, I read "Train Wheels, Plane Wheels..." Anna interrupted and said "Plain Wheels". I said "Yes, wheels on the bottom of a plane, that's how they land." Anna said "No, plain wheels - they're white." I looked at her quizzically and said "You mean with no decorations?" She said "Yes." :)

Anna has the stomach flu that's going around. As I was getting her dressed, she sat down and looked pale. Elizabeth asked how her stomach felt and she replied, "...like they're playing games in there. They're playing checkers, and chase the tail."
